This month, we celebrate John Bishop for 10 years of service to Mission San Juan Capistrano. We are incredibly grateful to have John as part of our Mission volunteer community, working as the lead Gardening Angel on the grounds 🌿
With a 50-year career in horticulture, including serving as the former Director of Horticulture at Sherman Library & Gardens, John brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Since 2016, he has shared his knowledge, energy, and passion to help care for the Mission’s historic gardens. His dedication helps keep our beautiful grounds thriving and ensures that this historic landmark continues to inspire all who visit.
