Meet Chloe Chiang, one of our Conducting Scholars! 🎶
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Chloe is a soprano and third-year student at UCLA pursuing a B.A. in Music Education with an emphasis in choral music. She currently studies voice with baritone John Buffett and performs with UCLA’s Chamber Singers.
Before attending UCLA, Chloe sang with Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley under Elena Sharkova and Jace Wittig, serving as Vocalise Student Conductor during her senior year. She is also entering her second year with the Seraphic Fire Ensemble Artist Program.
Chloe aspires to conduct choirs at the collegiate level, inspiring the next generation of musicians through the same passion for choral music that shaped her own journey.
We’re thrilled to have Chloe as part of the Laguna Beach Chamber Singers this season and look forward to supporting her continued growth as a conductor!
