The City and Waste Management are hosting a free composting workshop at 10 am on Saturday, October 24 in The Kershaw Garden at Mission Viejo City Hall.
Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting. Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to purchase or order at a significant discount at the end of the workshop.
To register, contact 949-470-8458 or greenmv@cityofmissionviejo.org.
