Employee Spotlight: Christina Lee 🐴
Christina has been part of The Shea Center community for 15 years, starting with four years as a volunteer before joining the staff. Today, as our Equine Services Manager, she helps ensure our horses stay happy and healthy through structured exercise routines and individualized care.
Christina’s journey began working alongside Janelle and one of her clients each week. After joining the team, she spent many years in the Volunteer Department before transitioning to the Equine Department.
Her favorite part of the job is seeing the impact our horses have on clients every day. One of the highlights of her week is ground driving for a client, a role that brings together her love for the horses and the difference they make in our clients’ lives. While she loves all the horses at The Shea Center, Ginger holds a special place in her heart! 💙
Outside of work, Christina dreams of going on an African safari. She has four dogs and some fish at home and recently welcomed a Dachshund puppy to the family who, she says, couldn’t be more perfect. And when it comes to sports, she’s a Chargers fan! 😊
