Higher than normal tides, often called king tides, arrive in Laguna Beach Monday, Oct. 26 and continue through Wednesday, with tides peaking Tuesday and Wednesday.
The sand berm at Main Beach will stay in place to help protect against coastal flooding.
At the beach, stay off rocks and sea walls and keep kids and pets back from the water’s edge. Avoid coves and stairs that high tide can cut off.
