Make the holidays brighter for some Marines and Sailors from our City's adopted Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton. The Mission Viejo Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee, alongside the City of Mission Viejo, invites our caring community members to join the Holiday Adopt-a-Marine Family program.
Since 2008, this has been a special initiative to bring joy, warmth, and support to our single Marines, couples, and Marine families. Participating Marines will provide a "wish list" to the City and their requests will be sent to the thoughtful community members interested in providing gifts that are delivered to Camp Pendleton before the holidays.
Every year countless military members spend the holidays away from loved ones. Through your generosity, you can make a meaningful difference by providing gifts and holiday cheer to those who serve us with courage and dedication.
To Adopt-a-Marine and for more information, contact adoptamarinefamily@missionviejo.gov or 949-470-3061.
Please sign up before November 20, gifts need to be dropped off at Mission Viejo City Hall (200 Civic Center) by December 4.
