CORE 10: Defining Ourselves
Join us for a month-long celebration honoring the creative acheivements of artists with disabilities!
Since 2004 we have partnered with The Arts and Disability Network at UCLA to showcase artists with disabilities from around the world. CORE has been a forum for artists, arts and disability advocates and the community at large to build common bonds and promote themselves through the arts, while ensuring accessibility for all with sign language interpretation, braille and audio description.
Throughout October, CORE 10 celebrates the accomplishments of each participating artist, supporter and arts and disability advocate over the years. In honor of the personal and creative accomplishments of many, from breaking down barriers to contributing to the changing perceptions on disability, we joyfully acknowledge this milestone event in your name and invite the community to celebrate with us!
CORE 10 is proud to be a part of Arts Month and Disability Awareness Month, expanding our programming to include education and advocacy events that compliment the visual and performing arts line-up! Additional details can be found and shared herebit.ly/COREEVENTS
